Steve Spaduzzi, a proven, highly motivated product management executive and long-time member of the gift and home decor industry, offers a wealth of expertise in global sourcing, concept design/development and purchasing management.
Steve’s successful career began with a 15-year tenure at World Bazaar Inc, a direct import and retail home furnishings chain. Steve’s early experience living in Hong Kong as manager of Asian buying operations established a solid base for the many long-term relationships he has in the region. Steve also served as Vice President of Purchasing responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring an $110M annual retail-purchasing plan for 310 franchised and company-owned stores.
In 1993, Steve moved to the wholesale side of the industry joining CBK, a leading gift and home décor importer. Subsequently, Steve became Vice President over the product division and a partner in the business. Steve was instrumental in moving the product line from a high SKU, lower price-point assortment to a more focused collection of higher price-point gift and home decor. Positioned well for rapid growth and higher margins, CBK became an industry leader, tripling its revenue and profits during the period 1995 to 2002.
With over 30 years experience in the industry, Steve left CBK in 2007 to become an international consultant specializing in product development, design, sourcing and supply-chain/inventory management for the gift and home décor industry. Steve offers an extensive network of loyal manufacturers, industry contacts and a wealth of product management expertise.
