Clark and Carol Brown have lived and worked full time in the Philippines for the past 17 years,
experienced in the areas of decorative accessories, furniture, home décor, giftware, seasonal,
garden, baskets, housewares and packaging. They have accumulated data for over 50 different
kinds of material combinations, customer care, vendor relationships, production and shipment
coordination, QA/QC preparation and requirements – all effective tools that can be used to tailor a
program toward YOUR objectives.

Clark Brown Associates, Inc. was formed in June of 1992 as a buying agency in the Philippines
with shipments to date totaling over $100 million, meeting the various special needs and
requirements of over 80 clients ranging from wholesalers to retailers & mail order catalogs, as
well as private designers and packaging specialists.
Many years of experience working in the US market have kept eyes focused on their clients’
objectives. Clark’s 30 years of experience in the United States include positions as national
buyer for J.C. Penney Co., buyer for S&H Green Stamps, Merchandise Manager for Diners Club
Direct Mail & Incentive Dept., and sales representative for Ted Arnold, Ltd. in New York. He then
formed his own company in Chicago. Carol’s 20 years include manufacturing and sales.
Together they based their sales representative organization, Clark Brown Associates, Ltd., in their
Chicago Merchandise Mart showroom for 17 years
before moving to the Philippines.
